Why do people with crappy cars spend so much money on aftermarket fascia?

Seriously. I would think if you had a crappy car, you would want to take the attention off of yourself, rather than put a spoiler on the back,add some cheap decals from Autozone, or spend 2 mortgage payments on spinning wheels. I mean, I can understand not having the money to buy a nice car, but don't these people know that they're just getting laughed at? Shouldn't they be spending their money on more important things?

you are right to a degree its a hobby for some but some just take it too far and yes i can think of alot better things to spend my money on like 4 10inch subs

because is avalable its cheap and theres something new every day

I saw a car the other day with four regular rims and one spinner. Had to look twice. I spend my money on making my car run better. I'd rather get where i'm going in a piece of junk than spend all my money on looks and break down.
