Why do others make fun of crappy cars?

Why do some people make fun of crappy cars or even cars more expensive than their own? Whats the point? If you dont like a car why put somebody down for what they drive? im rich and i dont give 2 flying craps what others drive. So why do poor people or average income people make fun of cars?

more than likely its because they feel insecure about what they drive,or that that have nothing to drive, people can be callas, jealous of others things and I grew up having nothing and most of my married life too but with in the last 5 years we have had better lives financially. now we are able to afford something nice to drive and I always remember where I came from and never make fun of any ones old car,the important thing here is that the have wheels to get them to and from.

Oh come on, SOME vehicles are absolutely ridiculous. You mean to tell me that if you see some guy driving by in a huge, shiny pickup truck with lifts and covered in iron crosses, you don't scoff at him for having a laughably tiny penis?

i used to put myself down with my old car as long as u got bumps who care if it a bucket right

i only make fun of those that drive older cars with new rims and tires, and a new stereo that costs more than the car is worth. add to that the cars that are jacked up to the height of a truck - what in the world are these people thinking? they do NOT look good at all.

Concerning "crappy" cars....... "Its better to be driving one of them than to have your eye on one"! I've had and have numerous vehicals, I buy and drive the types " I " like and don't care about what other people have or don't have.

Some people think it is important to drive a good car. They may also think that their importance is determined by the car one drives. They judge people's value by this false standard. They are very insecure. They tear down others in order to build up themselves, to shore up their own ego.

I dont personally make fun of crappy cars as I know alot of peopel cant afford newer cars due to finance. as long as a car gets me from point a to point b I am happy. also with a crappy car if someone puts a dent in it you laugh. ever seen a grown man cry becasue they say a dent in their brand new ZO7 vette? I have lol. I just make fun of the ricer cars. as they have to be brain dead as to what they do to their vehicles. a wing bigger than than the whole car thats front wheel drive to begin with lol. the muffler thats the size of a coffey can and sounds liek its farting down the road. and the TACH thats also bigger than the whoel instrument panel (why with this one I have no clue as to why they need this?) I make fun of peopel that sinks thousands of dollars into cars that they think is cool and fast.
