How Do I get rid of crappy skin?

Gah - 2008-02-13 00:01:12 - Other - Skin Body

I have always had pretty crappy skin. Not acne though. I get zits, and my skin can have coloration like a zit, but not a zit. I think it is a blemish? Any ideas to fix it? I currently use aveeno positively radiant cleanser. I am seriously tired of crappy skin. Does proactiv work? or some not terribly expensive system work?

Alot of us have been through the 'crappy skin' phase. Fixing it is easy. You just have to take a good hard look at the products you are using. Take your Aveeno cleanser and look at the ingredients.. what's the VERY first ingredient?? Is it water?? Chances are you need to trash it and go for something that is truly going to work on your skin. Remember this.. the first ingredient in your products is what the highest percentage of it is blended into your product. If you use soap, most are made with 'pig lard'. Also a cleanser should NOT foam up with suds.. One that does most likely contains detergent. Also.. Proactive is the MOST harsh product one can use on their skin.. again.. look at it's ingredients and find out what each means. If you truly want a great product, check out LBRI Pure and Natural. There first ingredient is aloe vera. Have you ever applied aloe to a cut or scrape?? Can you imagine what it can do to your skin to heal it? Their products do not contain mineral oil, alcohol, paraffins (waxes).. and do not have artificial fragrances. All are natural. I've used proactiv. It worked well, but it took about a month to actually start working. A product I liked with much faster results was the clinique skin care line. I suggest you look into that. I've had "crappy skin" too since I was about fifteen. For a quick fix when you're going out and want to cover redness and blemishes, I highly reccomend Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals make-up. It's light, doesn't clog your skin, and covers everything incredibly! It's the best make up I've ever used. If my suggestions fail, you ought to see a dermatologist.

ok its not crazy but try peroxide. it drys zits out! also exfoliate regularly also the best option for blackheads that ive tryed is clearisel black head scrub.. that also exfoliates and always moisturise your skin. bafore you apply makeup always give your face a soft massage.
