How can i get my sheltie to play with me?

My sheltie is 4 almost 5 years old and i love her more than anything in the world. I take her on walks 2wice a day. But whenever i run around and try to get her to bite my pants (she likes to bite my pants i guess to herd me lol) or try to chace her she thinks i am mad at her and just lays down. Any ideas?

you just maybe need to take her to your vet. i have a sheltie and they are very playful and protective. maybe try buying her a squeaky toy my sheltie likes those alot. and don't take her on walks to much , if they get too much exercises they can be tired and grumpy and that's not good for them. try taking her for a walk for 1 or 2 times a week. that would be best just don't under or over take her on walks she should be alot more playful in a couple of weeks if not then you seriously need to take her to the vet and see whats wrong.

Well, Shelties are very playful, so obviously something is wrong. Maybe, you walk her too much and is tired. Or, she might be sick, her food might be wrong, maybe something is wrong with her water, or she might be lonley and needs a play date
