Do people breed these dogs and give them ridiculous names just to make dog lovers ANGRY??? What the HECK is a Bullwawa!!?? I think there is already a shihtzipoo but its called 'shih poo' what a shame they didnt call it shihtzi poo huh

Best Answer:

This is AWFUL. i'm still waiting for a Shihtzipoo Edit: Awww too bad Edit: I had a conversation with a lady the other day. Here is how it went: Me: What kind of dog is that? (Of course I already knew the answer.. Some designer dog) Lady: Oh its a yorkawa! Me: A WHAT???? ( SUPRISINGLY SHOCKED) Lady: Yorkie mixed with chiuahuah. It's supposed to be called a Chorkie but yorkawa sounds more original! Me: Where did you get her/him? Lady: (Of course.. I knew she sounded irrisponsible from the beggining) I bought her of the internet! Can you believe she was ONLY $1300? Oh my goodness I wish I would of screamed at her, but I simply looked at her disgusted and walked away.

A what? wtf? People are paying money for that too- the whole thing is ridiculous.

Yup, they're awful! If you're trying to make a "new breed" *cough* at least give it a reasonable name, not some terrible mish-mash of the two parent breeds.

I think it's rather like the term 'teacup' when applied to a dog. A cutesy name designed to make people open their wallets a little wider and pay disreputable individuals huge sums of money for a dog that's worth no more than those in shelters everywhere.

O.O? A bulldog/bull terrier and a chihuahua...that has got to be one ugly litter. And now they do it to trick the gullible and those with sheeple tendencies into thinking they have this fresh and NEW breed and then pay a fortune for it. I mean come on we have people who think mutts are just random crossbreeds and hybrids are intentionally bred crosses...WTF

Stupid Stupid Stupid, It drives me CRAZY!!!

DeeDawg - 2009-04-21 09:16:28
well..... here's my take..... when people adopt a mutt from a rescue or shelter and give it a silly "breed" name, i think it's funny and cute. it shows that they value their mutt. i have a dog i affectionately call a Springador. he's a lab/springer spaniel. i rescued him 8 years ago. BUT... when people actually PAY MONEY (besides a small adoption fee) for a mutt with a silly "breed" name, i want to slap them, and tell them they could have gotten a mutt just as cool, maybe even cooler, from the SPCA!!!

Yea it drives me crazy too. When you tell people they are not a breed they just stand there and argue with you. Same with a "teacup" dog. I had a discussion yesterday with a co-worker and her "malti-poo", her daughter has a "teacup" something or other. Grrrrrr!

Hey now! A pitador is the best dog ever! Of course, whenever people ask me what he is and where I "bought" him, I tell them that shelters are completely full of this mix! Adopt, don't shop!

I'm sure there are people out there living their own lives, paying for the cost of their own dogs' care, and naming their own dogs just to make people on YA angry. I'm sure they have lives so empty that they purposely crossbreed an animal just to irritate you and those who feel like you. Personally, I don't care what anyone calls their dog(s) as long as they take care of them. God Bless them Abundantly if they keep the dogs fed, housed, loved, and provide medical care. Let them call them what they want. I'm too busy with my own family and pets to worry about what they call them.

If people are going to create a new breed surely they could find a better and more creative name .

b.w. - 2009-04-21 09:29:20
They breed these dogs to attach fancy names and make a bundle of money on mixed breeds. What angers me is people that claim to love dogs and give lip service to puppy mills being bad buy the mutts and support puppy mills!

People love to take advantage of the ignorant. And the ignorant just love to be part of the latest "in" thing like doodles and poos. The sad thing is, it's much more fun to adopt a mix from the shelter and give it your own name. I had a hound mix that we called a Hungarian Upidstay. I currently have a husky/terrier mix known as a Siberian Psycho Terrier. Funny thing is, with both dogs I've had people say "Oh, my neighbor used to breed and show those." You gotta love it when people show their ignorance!

"bullwawa" Whats kinda funny is that they obviously cant spell "Chihuahua" properly.. Most of these stupid names dont even sound like a dog breed.. they sound like something else. I think "Chorkie" sounds more like another word for vomiting. "Puggle" reminds me of a type of snack.. Bugles.. a Puggle is actually a baby Echidna tho. And the price people pay for these mutts is amazing.. $1300 for a yorkie/chi mix.. I paid LESS than that for my AKC Crested from a top breeder!
