How much should a 50 pound heavy punching bag actually weigh?

I bought a 50 pound heavy bag, but it only weighs about 35 pounds. Are they actually supposed to weigh 50 or is that just a general rating?

no it should be 50#s if thats what the tag says call the vendor ask them wtf? if you wanted a 35 pound bag youd buy a 35 pound bag. you bought a 50# bag. what brand is it?
